WINE PATRIARCH PREMIERES PINOT NOIR ON TERLATO FAMILY VINEYARDS LABEL
Anthony Terlato triumphs as heartbreak grape yields sublime results in 2007 vintage Pinot Noir.
The Terlato family announces the inaugural vintage of Terlato Family Vineyards Pinot Noir, heralding from The Russian River Valley. This 2007 Pinot Noir is Burgundian in style with an elusive aroma of violets, raspberries and strawberries and a light, nicely acidic balance.
The Russian River Valley is uniquely suited to the challenging yet rewarding Pinot Noir grape. The cool climate and evening fog allow for an extended growing season and the opportunity for Pinot Noir to reach its full flavor potential.
Long considered the “Father of Pinot Grigio”, Anthony Terlato launched a Russian River Valley Pinot Grigio as the first wine under his eponymous label. With this inaugural vintage of the Terlato Family Vineyards Pinot Noir, the promise of the Russian River Valley has been fulfilled.
